WebAssist PC Answers Edition 1.2
WebAssist is a special program that will help you
find what you want on the Internet. No need for installation as
it runs directly from the PowerDisc. There are no advertising
banners or icons dotted here, there and everywhere but a catalogue
containing hundreds of useful WebSites arranged in a way that
makes it quick and easy to locate the Site that suits your needs.
Features:
- Easy to use.
- You can add your own Sites to the WebAssist catalogue
- You can suggest Sites (including your own WebSite)
to be included in future catalogue
- Automatically updated every month so by running
the most current PowerDisc you know you have the most recent
version.
There are several noticable differences between
the original version and 1.2, the main one being the ability to
add your own groups, sub-groups and sites to any part of the catalogue,
not just the 'My Links' section. You can also hide any WebAssist
items which you do not want to see! This level of custimisation
adds to the flexibility of WebAssist, making it a real gem and
well worth upgrading to!
If you do want to install it on your hard
drive, that's no problem....
Users can sign up to a newsletter on the WebAssist
Website (http://www.burrotech.com)
and they will be informed when new data is released. However this
doesn't apply to the 'run-from-CD' version.
